PottyCap was created by women for women to enhance independence in daily living. Hendersonville, Tenn., October 1, 2022- Blanor Products will introduce PottyCap, an innovative female urinal aid, at the MedTrade East Conference, October 24- 26, 2022, at the Georgia World Congress Center in Atlanta. Incontinence affects approximately 25 million Americans, the National Association for Incontinence Facts and Statistics report women make up 80% of these cases. Unfortunately, women do not have easy options handling toileting, and many don’t realize the negative physical and mental impact of incontinence. On the average 68% of females are in long term care facilities due to incontinence issues from inability to safely get to the bathroom, failure to control their bladder, or incontinence fall-related injuries, said Faye Pryor, PT and CEO of Blanor Products. “Patients inquired why there are no urinals for women to use. It was reported among nursing directors in long term care facilities over one third of falls occurred while the resident was attempting to get to the bathroom.
